Homemade Mayo


I have been making homemade mayonnaise for years and years, but I really feel that I have FINALLY perfected it. First off, I want to say that it's not so much the ingredients that make or break this recipe, but the technique. You'll see on the recipe card what I use, but you could swap olive oil for avocado oil, large chicken egg for duck egg, take or leave the whey, vinegar for lemon juice, etc. What really makes this mayo great is following the steps I am laying out for you, so definitely pay attention to those. I hope this is a blessing to you! I know firsthand how crazy expensive it is out there to buy mayonnaise that doesn't have the seed oils in it, so this really is a great way to have an even more flavorful and cost effective mayo in your house.
