Homemade Bread

I have been trying to share ways to save money in the kitchen, and this is another great way to do it. First, there is almost nothing as good as the smell of your home when bread is baking. Such a bonus! But, also, it can really save you serious money, especially if you are one to try and buy bread that has clean ingredients. This recipe is tried and true! My kids are now baking bread with it regularly, and it's amazing. I use a bread machine for it because it's so easy, but you can definitely make this with a stand mixer or even mixing by hand. If you do want to try a bread machine, I always pick them up for less than $10 at garage sales and thrift stores, so if you don't have one you totally can get one cheap! 

The bread makers can do the whole process of kneading and rising and baking for you, but I am one to take the dough out when it's made and let it rise, then bake it myself because I don't like the shape of it out of the machine. Whichever way you do it, you won't regret having fresh baked bread that has delicious and clean ingredients to give your family.
